SkillsNG is honest about where we are today: delivering NSQ-aligned assessment and verifiable Skills Certificates while formal NBTE accreditation is in progress.
Accreditation in progress
SkillsNG Innovation Centre Limited operates an NSQ-aligned quality framework (QAA → IQA → EQA) and issues SkillsNG Skills Certificates when learners demonstrate competence. We are actively working toward full NBTE accreditation so qualified learners can progress to the official NBTE NSQ Qualification through an approved Awarding Body. Until that milestone is complete, we do not claim NBTE-accredited status on certificates — we say so clearly, here and on every verify result.
What you can do today
- ✓Register as a learner, complete KYC, and build NSQ-aligned portfolio evidence
- ✓Book assessments at SkillsNG-approved Lite or Accredited partner centres
- ✓Receive a SkillsNG Skills Certificate with QR verification after QAA → IQA → EQA review
- ✓Share verifiable credentials with employers via skillsng.com/verify
- ✓Train and assess using published NOS workbooks aligned to Nigerian skills standards
- ✓Partner centres can join the Lite network and manage cohorts while accreditation progresses
After full NBTE accreditation
- →Full NBTE NSQ Qualification awarded through an approved Awarding Body
- →National recognition on the NBTE NSQ register where applicable
- →Expanded official assessment centre designation under NBTE rules
- →Broader cross-institution credit transfer and progression pathways
- →Enhanced public trust badges referencing completed NBTE accreditation
